Sorry for the radio silence lately….life has gotten really busy, but I am excited to share this project!!
I was so thrilled when I was contacted by a high school friend about helping her with her Master Bedroom.
She is a teacher here in Oregon and wanted a space that she could come home and relax in!!
When I went to view her current space….she told me she wanted to possibly paint it darker!! Although dark bedrooms can be beautiful and dramatic…..I hoped she would take a leap of faith and trust me and go much, much lighter.
After our initial meeting….I put together a mood board for her:
This was just our initial starting point…..after a bunch of going back and forth….I think we came up with a space that she loves!!!
Without further ado….the before:
And the after:
It is unbelievable how much brighter and bigger the room looks!!
I love the bright colors she picked out…..the room is so fun.
The gallery wall over her dresser. She picked out a lot of the art from Etsy.com as well as a few special touches. My favorite thing in the gallery wall is the letter from her father who recently passed away. It was one of the last things he wrote to her…..priceless….
Ryann….you are SO beautiful…both inside and out….I am so happy you have a Master Retreat that now reflects that…
